As atividades da empresa começaram antes mesmo de sua abertura, quando seus fundadores, Vera e Yuri Sanada lançaram, em 1995, a primeira revista digital na internet do Brasil o portal aventura.com.br, praticamente com o início da internet no Brasil.
Fundada em 1996, Aventuras Produções se dedica a promover a cultura brasileira para o mundo através do desenvolvimento, produção e consultoria de produções de cinema, TV e streaming, expedições científicas, aventuras, ecoturismo, e sustentabilidade, propiciando um maior entendimento do mundo natural e da natureza humana.
Entre suas diversas produções séries sobre povos indígenas, a natureza do Brasil, os grandes rios brasileiros, e turismo especializado, entre outros temas, são exibidos em diversos canais de TV por assinatura e na web.
De 2015 a 2017 a Aventuras Produções produziu, com o Canadá, Reino Unido e EUA, o primeiro filme IMAX Brasileiro, o Amazon Adventure 3D, que segue sendo exibido ao redor do mundo. Este filme recebeu até o momento 8 prêmios internacionais, inclusive 2 Lumiére da Hollywood Advanced Imaging Society e 1 da US National Science Foundation.
De 2019 a 2020 produziu a Phoenicians Before Columbus Expedition, navegando do norte da África até a Flórida nos EUA na mesma réplica de navio Fenício do ano 600 AC, um projeto internacional em parceria com a campanha Clean Seas do Programa da ONU para o Meio Ambiente, entre outras entidades internacionais. A produtora agora esta envolvida no desenvolvimento de um museu dedicado para este barco histórico, na cidade de Montrose, Iowa, as margens do Rio Mississippi, nos EUA.
Entre seus projetos anteriores se destacam o documentário oficial das celebrações no mar do 500º aniversário do descobrimento do Brasil no ano 2000, quando uma frota de 39 navios e barcos navegaram de Lisboa ao Rio de Janeiro.
Para o centenário da imigração japonesa no Brasil em 2008 produziu o documentário oficial, lançado nos cinemas no Japão e no Brasil, e o Nipo Cine Brasil, um festival de cinema brasileiro no Japão de 2006 a 2008, e Mostra de Cinema Paulistano em Tóquio.
De 2008 a 2010 a Aventuras Produções produziu o documentário da Expedição Phoenicia, um projeto multinacional de pesquisa arqueológica que circunavegou o continente Africano com o suporte de muitas entidades internacionais. A réplica do navio Fenício do ano 600 AC foi baseado no naufrágio Jules Verne VII, do Musée de Marseille.
Aventuras Produções sempre este a frente do mercado com lançando de tecnologia de ponta, aliada ao melhor conteúdo, desde a primeira revista brasileira na internet em 1996, o primeiro filme IMAX brasileiro em 2017, e agora com o desenvolvimento do sistema Real MetAdventures no Metaverso.
Junto com o Instituto AfrOrigens, Aventuras está desenvolvendo um documentário sobre navios escravagistas com apoio do Slave Wrecks Project do Smithsonian Institution National Museum of African American History and Culture e George Washington University, Universidade Federal Fluminense e Universidade Federal de Sergipe.
Em parceria com a entidade norte-americana Heartland Research Group, está construindo o PHOENICIAN SHIP MUSEUM nas margens do Rio Mississippi, em Montrose, Iowa, EUA.
Aventuras está desenvolvendo o filme longa-metragem Blackbirder, em coprodução com os EUA, para contar a história do capitão Nathaniel Gordon, que trouxe o último navio escravagista a desembarcar com sucesso africanos no Brasil, e que se tornou o único traficante condenado e executado em 350 anos de escravidão da diáspora Africana.
O projeto Rio Amazonas do Gelo ao Mar, que percorrerá todo o Rio Amazonas pela primeira vez documentando a maior biodiversidade do planeta, está em desenvolvimento com o apoio da Harvards Maps, Explorers Club, campanha Clean Seas da UNEP, e diversas entidades nacionais e estrangeiras, e irá gerar filme IMAX, documentário longa-metragem e série de streaming, entre outras produções.
Aventuras Produções segue desenvolvendo projetos ousados como filmes longa-metragem, filmes IMAX, seriados para TV e Streaming, festivais de cinema internacionais, programa de entrevistas semanais, expedições científicas e culturais em parceria com produtoras nacionais e estrangeiras líderes para o mercado internacional.

The company’s activities began even before its opening, when its founders, Vera and Yuri Sanada, launched, in 1995, the first digital magazine on the internet in Brazil, the portal aventura.com.br, practically with the beginning of the internet in Brazil.
Founded in 1996, Aventuras Produções is dedicated to promoting Brazilian culture to the world through the development, production, and consulting of Film, TV and Streaming, scientific expeditions, adventures, ecotourism, and sustainability, providing a greater understanding of the natural world and human nature.
Among its many productions, series about indigenous peoples, the nature of Brazil, the Brazilian great rivers, and specialized tourism, among other topics, are exhibited on many TV channels and on the web.
From 2015 to 2017, Aventuras Produções produced with Canada, the UK, and the USA, the first Brazilian IMAX film, Amazon Adventure 3D, which continues to be shown around the world. This film has received 7 international awards so far, including 2 Lumiere from the Hollywood Advanced Imaging Society and one from the US National Science Foundation.
From 2019 to 2020 Aventuras produced the Phoenicians Before Columbus Expedition, sailing from North Africa to Florida USA on the same replica of the Phoenician ship from the year 600 BC, an international project in partnership with the Clean Seas campaign of the UN Environment Program, among other international entities. The production company is now developing a dedicated museum for this historic boat, in the city of Montrose, Iowa, on the banks of the Mississippi River, in the USA.
Among its previous projects is the official documentary of the celebrations at sea of the 500th anniversary of the discovery of Brazil in the year 2000, when a fleet of 39 ships and boats sailed from Lisbon to Rio de Janeiro.
For the centenary of Japanese immigration to Brazil in 2008, Aventuras produced the official documentary, released in theaters in Japan and Brazil, and Nipo Cine Brasil, a Brazilian film festival in Japan, from 2006 to 2008, and Mostra de Cinema Paulistano in Tokyo.
From 2008 to 2010, Aventuras Produções produced the documentary of the Phoenicia Expedition, a multinational archaeological research project that circumnavigated the African continent with the support of many international entities. The replica of the Phoenician ship from the year 600 BC was based on the shipwreck Jules Verne VII, from the Musée de Marseille.
Aventuras Produções has always been ahead of the market with the launch of cutting-edge technology, combined with the best content, since the first Brazilian internet magazine in 1996, the first Brazilian IMAX film in 2017, and now with the development of the Real MetAdventures system in Metaverse.
Together with AfrOrigens Institute, Aventuras is developing a documentary about slave ships with support from the Slave Wrecks Project hosted by the Smithsonian Institution National Museum of African American History and Culture and the George Washington University, Universidade Federal Fluminense, and Universidade Federal de Sergipe.
In partnership with the North American entity Heartland Research Group, it is building the PHOENICIAN SHIP MUSEUM on the banks of the Mississippi River, in Montrose, Iowa, USA.
Aventuras is developing the feature film Blackbirder, a co-production with the USA, that tells the story of Captain Nathaniel Gordon, who brought the last slave ship to land successfully in Africa in Brazil and who became the only trafficker convicted and executed in 350 years of slavery for the African diaspora.
The Amazon River Ice to Sea project, which will travel the entire Amazon River for the first time documenting the greatest biodiversity on the planet, is under development with the support of Harvards Maps, Explorers Club, UNEP’s Clean Seas campaign, and several national and foreign entities, and will generate IMAX film, feature-length documentary, and streaming series, among other productions.
Aventuras Produções continues to develop bold projects such as feature films, IMAX movies, series for TV and Streaming, international film festivals, weekly interview shows, and scientific and cultural expeditions in partnership with leading domestic and foreign producers for the international market.
